I gave up working to deadlines a few years back. I was in the process of making changes to my life, but I was still running a busy costume hire company.

There are days that seem to arrive with an urgency to create and to 'do'. Days where making dolls - or anything else - is uncomplicated and joyful.

It's a strange thing to not give a doll a name. I read about dolls on other blogs & doll-making sites and I can see that a lot of people create names and personalities for their dolls.
